iLEX HUMAN RIGHTS STATEMENT

Last updated on 31 Jan 2022

iLex representatives uphold the iLex values in everything they do and seek to uphold the human rights of all employees, third parties and clients with whom we interact.

We will seek to act in accordance with internationally declared human rights and standards, including those expressed in the International Bill of Human Rights and the principles set out in the International Labour Organization’s Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work. We will also seek to follow the United Nations’ Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

Internationally recognised human rights, as set out in the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, are the basic rights that form the foundation for freedom, justice and peace. In particular, we commit to providing iLex representatives with the following:

  • An environment that values diversity, equality and inclusiveness: the right for differences to be respected and valued in an inclusive environment designed for all iLex Representatives to develop, thrive and be treated with dignity.
  • Appropriate employment rights: the right to fair, appropriate and legally compliant terms of employment or engagement in an environment free from harassment or discrimination.
  • Health and Safety protection: to be given a safe and secure work environment, both from a physical and psychological perspective.
  • Ethical Treatment: we will follow high standards of ethical conduct in our operations.

We will also follow local laws in the countries in which we operate. Where local laws differ from the above standards, we will seek to demonstrate good business conduct through our behaviours. We expect that our suppliers act in a similar way with human rights respected and upheld.
